Anthony Mini

Anthony Mini is an accomplished technology professional with over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, cybersecurity and IT operations involving private, public and nonprofit organizations. As senior vice president of security and operations for Pearl Technology, he oversees all technical operations, including its data centers, cybersecurity and IT solutions, leading over 30 employees in support of more than 200 area businesses. He is a 6 Sigma Certified Green Belt and has a wide range of certifications related to cybersecurity, information systems and IT infrastructure.

Major Mini is also an active guardsman with over 20 years of distinguished military service and multiple service, commendation and achievement medals from the U.S. Army, Air Force and National Guard. He began his military career in 2001 and participated in homeland security operations for two years in support of Operation Noble Eagle. In 2019, he deployed overseas as cyber operations flight commander in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Back in Illinois, he has been involved in joint (Army/Air Force) cyber initiatives and cyber defense training, and has been activated multiple times to provide cyber security support to the state. Earlier this year, he transitioned to part-time reservist status to take on his current position at Pearl Technology. 

As chairman of the Air National Guard (ANG) Communication Field Advisory Committee from 2016 to 2018, Major Mini represented over 2,500 ANG cyber professionals from across the country, lobbying for critical resources and impacting national policy. He previously served on the National Guard Association of Illinois’ executive board, providing oversight and governance, supporting the Illinois National Guard through legislative advocacy, and serving as technology committee lead.

As a member of the InfraGard Illinois – Springfield Members Alliance, Mini helps connect the private sector to the FBI to protect critical infrastructure from emerging technologies and threats, and he is currently working to start a satellite chapter based in Peoria. He has served as a mentor to cadets through Lincoln’s Challenge Academy and has coached youth hockey since 2010. PM
