Grave Finder at Springdale

Finding the final resting place of a friend, relative or historical figure at Springdale Cemetery just got a lot easier...

Springdale Cemetery
Springdale Cemetery was chartered in 1855 and received its first interment in 1857. Almost 78,000 individuals are buried there.

Finding the final resting place of a friend, relative or historical figure at Springdale Cemetery just got a lot easier, thanks to its new online “Grave Finder” tool. Where visitors previously relied on Springdale staff, paper maps, handwritten directions or their memories to navigate the sprawling cemetery, they now may search for a specific individual, cemetery section or lot number and receive an aerial map with directions. Users can print the maps or access a link on their mobile phones once they’re onsite to view the desired location.

To use Grave Finder, go to springdalecemetery.com/gravefinder and enter the name of the individual, section or lot number in the search bar. The tool locates the gravesite on a map and provides any additional information contained in Springdale’s database. Zoom in and out to view nearby roads and landmarks, and even place a digital marker on the gravesite. PM
