As director of marketing at ATS, Sandra Marchand leads a dynamic team of professionals responsible for implementing marketing strategies and technologies aimed at accelerating business growth. During her six-year tenure with the firm, she has built a culture of innovation, perseverance and growth that has delivered extraordinary results. Among her greatest achievements, she and her team built and unveiled a state-of-the-art marketing technology center at ATS headquarters in Peoria, aimed at improving the digital journey of its customers.
During the pandemic, Marchand led her team to pivot quickly—and within four months they had launched two new products to the market, generating over 100,000 website visits, 87 qualified sales opportunities, which led to a 23% increase in marketing performance growth. She is passionate about mentoring young marketing professionals and empowering the next generation of leaders, hiring young talent and helping them with skills development, career planning, and pathways for personal and professional growth.
Not only has Marchand led ATS to receive multiple marketing awards as a company, she has also been recognized for her individual leadership. She was honored with the ATS Go-Getter Award, and was selected to participate in a 10-month executive strategy program at Bradley University and a prestigious leadership program through Aon Hewitt. She has also had an article published by MarTech Advisor, the world's leading source for marketing technology news, research and insights.
Marchand volunteers and participates in community events with a range of nonprofit organizations, including the Heart of Illinois United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Neighborhood House, Midwest Food Bank and Feed the Children. She is especially committed to making an impact on underprivileged children and teens, rallying her team to invest quality time with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She reads stories to underprivileged children in local school programs for the United Way, and during the holiday season she helps wrap gifts for seniors in need through Neighborhood House. PM
