George began his career raising money around the country for the Jeff George Foundation, then settled in Peoria where he served as CEO for a variety of organizations—including Youth Farm, Cancer Center for Healthy Living, and his current position at Children’s Home. His two decades of experience as a nonprofit leader have always been centered on running his organization as a business, and not as a charity.
