To foster community engagement and neighborhood stabilization by providing a vibrant place to gather.
To be everyone’s first-choice gathering place for recreation, celebration, the arts, lifelong learning and community services.
Since its founding in 2012, the East Bluff Community Center has become the go-to place for hundreds of neighborhood kids, parents, friends and families. In 2018, more than 30,000 people enjoyed the amenities the center has to offer – such as a gymnasium and full kitchen available to rent for athletic events, family parties and community meetings.
The center’s long-term tenants include:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria afterschool program
- YMCA East Bluff Rebound basketball summer league for boys ages 8 to 14
- Peoria Opportunities Foundation, an affordable housing developer
- Peoria Humanists
- Turning Point – Addiction Recovery
- WAZU Hip Hop Radio 90.7.
The center also hosts a food pantry on Saturday mornings, serving more than 180 East Bluff families every month. Call the center for a tour and see for yourself the many activities the center provides for the East Bluff!
