Children's Home Association

Giving children a childhood and future by protecting them, teaching them and healing them, and by building strong communities and loving families.

A healthy community where children and families come first.

Children’s Home is one of the oldest, largest, locally-based social service organizations in the Tri-County area. Our staff of over 450 professionals is committed to community-based, family-focused programs that provide counseling, education and support to more than 1,700 children and families each month. We serve children from newborns to young adults.
We remain:

  • Optimistic that better outcomes are possible
  • A Collaborative member of our community, working with others to meet new challenges
  • A Leader in our field, with the
  • expertise to deliver impactful and inspirational outcomes for our community.

Children’s Home operates out of ten locations where we change and save the lives of kids and families in our shared community in the areas of education, community, clinical and placement.

How to Help
We feel strongly about engaging those within our community to get involved in whatever capacity they are able. A donation of your time, talent or treasure goes a long way toward helping Children’s Home continue to change and save lives.

Want to take a more hands-on approach? Contact Bailey Christian, volunteer coordinator, at (309) 687-7208 or Whether it’s a gardening project, painting a room that needs some TLC, or mentoring a child in our care, our volunteers make a huge difference.

Monetary donations are always appreciated, but we also need in-kind donations. These include: hygiene products, diapers, baby formula and new household items (dishes, pots and pans, cleaning supplies). Contact Paige Dobson at (309) 687-7213 or for more information.

No matter how you want to make your impact, we encourage our community to get involved in raising up our community… one at-risk child at a time.
