In this 1.5 hour class, you will hand paint a design on a wine glass guided by an instructor from Le Painted Grape. All painting supplies and wine glass included. Join the Peoria Area Civic Chorale at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 & 14 for beautiful arrangements of traditional carols, such as The Wexford Carol, Lo’ How a Rose E’er Blooming, Joy to the World, and Go Tell It On The Mountain. Celebrate the Christmas season with the sixteenth century sounds of Giovanni Gabrieli’s Beata es Virgo Maria, and the Spanish villancico, Riu, Riu Chiu. Reminisce about family Christmas seasons long ago with such secular favorites as I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Let it Snow, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Baby, and many more.

A stellar selection of Peoria’s finest performers (Jarod Hazzard, Katie McLuckie, Kyle King, Julie Seeley, and Lauren Deppe) will dazzle audiences with holiday favorites, vibrant vocals, laughter and holiday joy.

This musical theatre-inspired Cabaret in our intimate setting will remind you of the true meaning of the season with an evening spent relaxing with friends, enjoying a drink or two, and listening to your favorite holiday songs.

Chocolate in the Heights

Peoria Heights will continue a longstanding tradition with Chocolate in the Heights. Maybe you’ll find a chocolate-colored blouse at a price you can’t resist. Of course you’ll enjoy the complimentary gourmet chocolates available at the shops and restaurants. If you want something with a little more pick-me-up, perhaps a chocolate-flavored wine will do. Who doesn’t love Mexican hot chocolate? The Hearth has it. Everyone wants a white Christmas, but on Dec. 14, we in the Heights plan to paint the town chocolate.

Peoria Ballet Presents - The Nutcracker

Peoria Ballet’s The Nutcracker returns to the Peoria Civic Center Theater on December 14-15 for three performances.

This family holiday tradition has been a community favorite for over 45 years! This year’s production features 100+ Peoria Ballet dancers joined by five professional guest artists including principal dancers from Chicago’s Joffrey Ballet, plus live music by the Heartland Festival Orchestra. This festive classic is a treat for audiences of all ages!

This brand new fundraising version of our annual An American Family Christmas show will be specially crafted for the museum's space and will feature a renaissance portion in honor of the museum's Da Vinci exhibit.
