Illinois CancerCare Foundation - 11th Annual CUREageous

The Illinois CancerCare Foundation is hosting its annual CUREageous event on Friday, November 20, 2020. This year’s event will be virtual with the Live Feed starting at 7 PM. To date, CUREageous has raised over $1.5 million which has funded cancer research, education and awareness.
CUREageous honors area Physicians and Affiliated Medical Professionals who excel in their field of research. These professionals are nominated by employees, co-workers, patients, and community members. The winners are selected by an esteemed panel of physicians and community members who hold the same goal of improving the lives of others through clinical research.
The Rock Doc Award is presented to physicians who work in the healthcare field in central Illinois, who exhibit outstanding patient care, and who move patient care forward through their support in research.
The recipients of the 2020 Rock Doc Award is:
- Mackenzie McGee, MD Radiation Oncologist, OSF St. Francis Medical Center
The AMP Champ Award recognizes Affiliated Medical Professionals (AMP) for their contributions to research.
The recipient of the 2020 AMP Champ Award is:
- Sarah Gonzales, BS, MT(ASCP), CCRP Grants Manager/Research Coordinator, Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute
Tickets to the event range from $150 for an Individual ticket, a Watch Party for 2 at $300, a Watch Party for 6 at $780, and a Watch Party for 10 at $1,200. All tickets include a link to the virtual event and OUTRAGEOUS Party Boxes that include everything needed to make CUREageous “come to life” in the comfort of your own home.
