It’s not often in central Illinois that you’ll hear a fiddle and a pedal steel guitar together, but welcome to real-deal country courtesy of the Stone Cold Cowboys.
The band consists of longtime members Erich Thompson (vocals/acoustic guitar), Steve Harris (fiddle/electric guitar), Tug Thompson (electric guitar/vocals), Steve Towrey (vocals/acoustic guitar), and Guy Morse (drums/percussion). In 2016, they added Tim Harr (pedal steel guitar/dobro) and Dave Martin (electric bass/vocals), both veterans of multiple bands including Cadillac Jack.
