Painting and Lifecasting with your Sweetheart

St. Pauls Episcopal Church - The Hive
Host Organization
Black Dog Metal Arts LLC and The Hive

The Hive and Black Dog Metal Arts are hosting Valentine's date night event, lifecasting and painting with your sweetheart.
In this class, couples will begin by learning the lifecasting technique with Jam and Danny from Black Dog Metal Arts. This process will produce a highly detailed, lifelike copy of the couple's hands. Hands can be held, cupped, or in any position you would like! These will be cast in plaster, which will last a lifetime! Plaster castings will be ready to take home by the end of the class.
After the casting, Rick and Jody from The Hive will lead couples in the process of painting wine glasses and coasters. Each couple will get two wine glasses and two coasters to paint, a full set for a romantic date! Couples may also choose to paint two 9"x12" canvases instead of the wine glasses and coasters.
The cost for this fun art-filled evening is $125 per couple. Each couple will leave with a realistic plaster casting of their hands, two painted wine glasses, and two coasters (or two 9"x12" canvases).
