In this wheel throwing class, learn the basics of working with clay on the wheel. You will learn the proper techniques and methods of keeping the clay piece centered and balanced as well as how to pull the clay up into a cylinder or bowl shape. No experience is needed and you will be amazed at what you can learn during this class.
This ever popular class teaches you how to roll into color, heat, flatten, and twist the glass into a functional sun catcher, ceiling pull chain or pendant. Each participant makes 2 sun catchers in this class.

FamilyCore is excited to announce the 22nd Annual Frosty 5K and Dog Walk is set to take place on January 30, 2021. This event began as a coat drive for children and has evolved into one of FamilyCore’s main fundraising events.
This year we will have race options where runners may choose to participate in the in-person event on Peoria’s Riverfront or run on your own time as part of the “virtual race.”

Join Cuddles for Kids, Chillicothe Police Department, Chillicothe Fire Department and Advanced Medical Transport of Central Illinois in collecting NEW stuffed animals for OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois! Drive by and drop them off all while getting to see an awesome firetruck, police car and ambulance with their lights and sirens going!
