Betty Jayne - “Wine and Stein(way)”

Looking for a girl’s night out? You got it from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 26 with Wine & Stein(way), the first of what we hope becomes a series of paint nights at The Betty, this one with local artist Megan Couri. Paint, piano and pinot are an unbeatable combination, and it’s all yours for $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Participation will be limited to 25 people to ensure social distancing. All art supplies are included, and a full cash bar is available.

Five Points Friday outdoor concert

Five Points Fridays, a series of free outdoor concerts, will present its next two shows with performances by Peoria-based acts Black Velvet on June 19 and Pocket Mouse on June 26.

Gates open at 5:30 pm for both events, and the performances are scheduled to begin at 6 pm. The events will be held in the new Five Points Washington outdoor patio and adjacent parking lot area, located on the south end of the facility. A food truck and a cash bar will be available.


Brushville will perform at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard (located at 33633 IL-9 in Mackinaw) beginning at 7 pm.  Featuring fireworks at dusk along with rockin’ country mixed with upbeat rock, admission is $10 for adults and free for ages under 12. Bring lawn chairs along with your own foods: however, no beverages of any kind. There will also be wine tasting plus wine, beer, sodas, pizzas, cheese & crackers, and chocolates for sale. Moonlight Cruise

Enjoy Peoria's evening skyline with a Moonlight Cruise on the Spirit of Peoria on Friday from 7 - 9 pm. Featuring live entertainment and a cash bar, tickets are $23 for adults, $21 for senior citizens 55 and up, and $14 for kids aged 4 - 15 and infants are free. Reservations are not required.
