Join Prairie Folklore Theater for the 17th Annual Historic Springdale Cemetery Tours. Take a walk back in time and learn the true stories of some of the prominent Peorians who are buried at Springdale Cemetery!

Tours will be the first two weekends in October on Fridays Oct 4th and Oct 11th at 6pm

Saturdays Oct 5th and Oct 12th at 12pm and 2pm

Sundays Oct 6th and Oct 13th at 12pm and 2pm

CI Ballet presents The Phantom of the Opera

Central Illinois Ballet

Central Illinois Ballet presents Artistic Director Rebekah von Rathonyi’s vision of the classic story of the Phantom of the Opera. Based on the novel by Gaston Leroux, the audience is transported to the Paris Opera during the nineteenth century.

Big Picture Peoria Festival

Big Picture Peoria

Peoria Warehouse District will once again be alive with artists at our second annual street festival. This year we are featuring local artist Andrè Petty who will be creating a mural of Richard Pryor on the Sous Chef building at 1311 SW Adams.

Over 30 chalk artists will again compete for $1000 cash prizes and performances from local schools and theaters under the direction of by Bryan Blanks will be filling the streets with sound. The 2019 music stage will host an open-mic competition organized by Kindall Nelson of Peoria Music Live and Roxy Baker of WWCT 99.9 FM.
