The Peoria Woman - December 2007

The Peoria Woman
2007 Illinois REALTOR of the Year
The Illinois Association of Realtors’ 2007 REALTOR of the Year, Nancy Koch worked her way from department manager at Sears to managing broker of Coldwell Banker Devonshire Realty in Peoria. The award-winning Realtor says that her sales career and management and leadership training with Sears have been tremendous assets throughout her career.

Koch left her position at Sears to raise her two children and got involved in the real estate business part-time while they were still young. When her children were older, she took a real estate licensing class and began her career as a Realtor with Gwen Phillips and Associates in Morton. “The rest,” she says, “is history.”
