Central Illinois Perspective: Mayors call-in, allcharts announcement and more
WCBU, Peoria Public Radio, will broadcast a special call-in program featuring Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis and East Peoria Mayor Dave Mingus at noon on Monday, January 30th. The phone lines will be open for listener questions and comments. The station can be heard at 89.9FM and online at wcbufm.org.

Central Illinois Health Information Exchange will host a press conference at the Gateway Building on Thursday, January 26th, at 10:30am to introduce allcharts to the community.allcharts is central Illinois’ secure patient data exchange software, which combines a patient’s clinical information across a spectrum of participating healthcare providers. An art exhibit for Black History Month is on display in the Peoria Public Library’s Main Library Gallery through February 29th. The exhibit features works by many of Peoria’s talented artists, including Preston Jackson, Jonathan Romain, Elijah T. Sansom, Nicola Blease Perry, Rashad Reed, Andrea Reed and Larry Hendricks. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Admission is free.

Saturday, January 28th @ Luthy Botanical Garden
The Peoria Park District's Luthy Botanical Garden will host an art auction in the Garden Conservatory from 10am to 9pm. More than 60 Illinois artists have been invited to participate. The auction will be held from 10am to 5pm, and a silent auction will take place from 5 to 9pm. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served during the silent auction. There is no admission fee.
