The Community Foundation of Central Illinois, formed in 1988 as the
Peoria Area Community Foundation, was established by a group of community-minded
citizens to meet a wide variety of social, cultural, educational and
other charitable needs throughout Central Illinois. We work to meet
these needs through the distribution of income from endowment funds
established by our generous donors.
The Community Foundation of Central Illinois carries out our mission
by building permanent endowments as charitable capital for the Central
Illinois community. We maintain high professional standards in the investment
and management of the funds entrusted to the Foundation. We also promote
effective and efficient grantmaking to serve current and future needs
of Central Illinois.
The
Community Foundation of Central Illinois acts as a vehicle to serve
donors with varied interest, at various levels of charitable giving.
We link those donors with charitable agencies that can most efficiently
carry out the objectives and desires for their funds. We offer maximum
flexibility in terms of assets that can be used to create a fund and
options for the use of donors' gifts.
The Community Foundation of Central Illinois...where your charitable
gift last forever.
