As Vice President of Finance, Director of Customer Service and corporate compliance officer for Advanced Medical Transport of Central Illinois, Timothy Beccue wears multiple hats at the company, demonstrating a compassionate, can-do attitude and a selfless dedication to improving the lives of others. He and his team have helped AMT remain a strong, sustainable, socially responsible corporate citizen that consistently delivers value-based health and community care.
Beccue graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Professional Accountancy. A Certified Public Accountant, he began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, but later followed his true passion for helping others, working to affect positive change in the nonprofit community.
As Associate Director of Accounting for the Illinois State University Foundation, Beccue shared his gift of inspirational leadership with students while teaching an ethics course for the university. When a former colleague recruited him to AMT, he quickly expanded his clinical and healthcare knowledge base to assume oversight of the customer service/billing department. He was appointed to the role of compliance officer by the Board of Directors, and graduated from the Multi-Cultural Leadership Program, an intensive professional development curriculum for emerging leaders. Upon completing the program, he then served as a board member.
Leading by example, Beccue is the first to volunteer when someone is in need of help, and he always gets the job done. He has served on the Heart of Illinois United Way Campaign Cabinet for several years, making a significant positive impact on multiple United Way campaigns. He also serves on the planning committee for the annual Leadership Conference hosted by the Illinois CPA Society of Central Illinois, and represents AMT on the CEO Council, an organization of business and community leaders working to promote a common vision and strategies that promote the growth of Greater Peoria. His persistent demonstration of ethical and moral leadership has made a great impact on the lives of friends, co-workers, organizations and the community. iBi
