As a managing principal for CGN Global, Ravindhar Uddavolu is involved in all aspects of the worldwide consulting business, including key account management, business development, client delivery, and staff management and development. During his 10 years with CGN, Uddavolu has become a critical asset, contributing to organizational growth and considered a trusted advisor to some of the firm’s most important client relationships. He serves on the CGN Leadership Council and played an important role in developing Go To Market Solutions for its practice areas—always striving to go the extra mile for his clients, the company and the staff he manages.
Uddavolu is also a member of the CGN team that mentors eighth-grade students at Washington Gifted School on supply-chain concepts. Modeled after the popular show Shark Tank, the seven-week program teaches students how businesses coordinate materials, manufacturing and distribution of a product.
Outside of the workplace, Uddavolu dedicates a great deal of time to nonprofit organizations in both Peoria and India. When the United Way embarked on a transformation to simplify its technology landscape, Uddavolu served as a key member on its technology council and supported the development of the roadmap. He is active on the executive leadership team of the American Heart Association's Heart and Stroke Ball, raising funds and working to meet 2020 objectives: improving the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent and reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent—all by the year 2020.
In addition, Uddavolu has been a long-time supporter and sponsor of PAPA (Public and Police Association for Street Children), an orphanage in Visakhapatnam, India that assists street children from six to 14 years old, providing them with basic necessities aimed at sustaining their long-term development. He has volunteered for the Passage to India event for more than four years, assisting with event planning and coordination to raise money for Easterseals.
