As Advanced Practice Provider Recruiter, Kyle Lewis has attracted more than five dozen new providers to become mission partners for OSF HealthCare, working closely with management to ensure the organization continues to grow and provide top-quality care. Prior to joining OSF, he worked for 10 years in various capacities at Belcan, a global engineering and staffing firm, as one of its lead recruiters. A passionate ambassador for Greater Peoria, he has recruited more than 700 employees to the region between the two organizations.

Much like his work as a recruiter, Lewis’ efforts in the community are marked by an infectious energy and enthusiasm as he actively engages his peers to become more involved in their community. He has served on various committees of the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council and Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria (YPGP), helping to organize events that celebrate living and working in the region. During his time as nomination chair and social co-chair for YPGP, the organization saw significant growth in event attendance and overall exposure.

Currently, Lewis is working with Wildlife Prairie Park’s Wildfire Concert Series in an effort to introduce a new audience to one of Peoria’s top local attractions. He also helped form a new not-for-profit organization, Build Peoria, whose goal is to unite the community through their love of the Peoria area, to physically build Peoria into a better place, and to leave a legacy for future generations.

Active with Bradley University’s Central Illinois Bradley Alumni Chapter, Lewis helps coordinate events to keep local Bradley alums active within the Alumni Association. Always willing to lend a hand, he has volunteered in numerous other capacities for the Chapter, including the winning effort for Peoria’s All-America City Award in 2013, as well as projects for The Center for Prevention of Abuse, Habitat for Humanity and St. Jude. He was also a key member in the origination and implementation of last year’s inaugural Food Truck Frenzy in Peoria Heights. iBi
