Erik M. Fehl

As account executive and Peoria operations manager for Environmental Control Solutions Inc. (ECSi), Erik M. Fehl is a leader in the field office for Automated Logic in central Illinois and eastern Iowa, providing solutions for building automation design, install, service and integration needs. Working in a very dynamic field, he combines technical expertise with an ability to bring a wide range of stakeholders together to complete complex, sustainable building ventures.

As one of ECSi’s first employees, Fehl helped develop the firm into an industry-leading provider. From recruiting and training new talent to securing and maintaining numerous prominent clients, he has helped increase annual sales revenue, creating more than a dozen jobs in the Peoria office alone. Among the milestones in his young career: he led a marketing strategy team responsible for upgrading the company website, logo and overall image; secured and executed a turnkey temperature controls project for Caterpillar; managed the Building Automation and Temperature Controls Division at Ruyle Mechanical Services; and earned a degree in construction management while working full-time. He was also part of the ECSi leadership team that received the Field Office of the Year Award from Automated Logic.

Fehl earned the United Association STAR certification as a first-year apprentice in Steamfitters Local Union 353, and now serves on the union’s Constitution and Bylaws Committee. He received the LEED Green Associate accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council and is a member of numerous professional organizations in the engineering field.

Active in his community, Fehl serves on the Oak Grove School District #68 Board of Education and on the General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport Board of Commissioners. He volunteers as a coach in the Limestone Girls Softball Association, serving as an at-large member of the board, and as an assistant coach for Limestone youth soccer and baseball. He is also a two-time finisher of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, raising money for Camp One Step - Children’s Oncology Services. iBi
