According to The Leadership Challenge, first published in 1987, great leaders share five core practices: They model the way, inspire a shared vision, challenge the process, enable others to act, and encourage the heart. In times of uncertainty, we count on them to guide our communities and lead us toward a better future.
Each year, we highlight the emerging talent of Greater Peoria—those who stand out among their peers and exemplify the spirit of servant leadership in our community. Now with 960 alumni, the 40 Leaders Under Forty award has become a rite of passage for the area’s rising stars.
