Caterpillar Inc. employees and retirees, together with a match from the Caterpillar Foundation, contributed $4.4 million in 2016 to nonprofit organizations in central Illinois through the company’s Matching Gifts Program. The program matches employee and retiree contributions to eligible colleges and universities, arts and cultural organizations, as well as public policy and environmental organizations—essentially doubling the value of donations to organizations that align with their passions.

“Our employees and retirees are committed to making a positive impact in the communities where they live and work,” says Caterpillar Foundation President Michele Sullivan. “While the total gift amounts differ each year, what remains constant is that our people continue to generously give their resources, as well as their time, through thousands of collective volunteerism hours.” Learn more about Caterpillar’s Matching Gifts Program at caterpillar.com/matching-gifts. iBi
