Aimée S. Link is a division communications support representative II for Caterpillar Inc., where she is responsible for the Financial Service Division’s website strategy and supports a number of other communication channels and initiatives. Earlier this year, she led the migration of the division’s website to a new, enterprise-supported technology platform while managing a team of more than 150 global participants. In her previous role as project consultant, she planned a variety of executive dealer meetings and was recognized twice in three years by her peers with the “Here to Work” team recognition award.
In addition to serving on the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Link has been active with the Young Professionals of Greater Peoria (YPGP) since 2010. Having chaired the social and nominations committees, she became vice chair of the YPGP Board Executive Committee in 2014 and chair in 2015. In this role, she has continued to assist with event planning, while helping to coordinate a networking event with the McLean County Chamber’s young professionals group and serving as team captain for the Chamber membership drive.
A 6 Sigma Green Belt, Junior Achievement volunteer and graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber’s Community Leadership School, Link serves on the Talent Attraction Committee for the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, the Scholarship Selection Committee at Illinois Central College and the Women’s Initiative Network at Caterpillar. She is also an active committee member involved with planning and executing the Easter Seals Black & Blue Ball, which raised $160,000 for the children of Easter Seals earlier this year.
Since graduating from Bradley University in 2008, Link has been heavily involved with her sorority, the Beta Eta Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta, and currently serves as vice president on the Affiliated House Corporation board.
A third-generation Caterpillar employee, Link grew up all over the world, from Switzerland to the United Arab Emirates to Japan. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family. iBi
