Andrew J. Berberich is the owner of INTEGRIS Group LLC, an East Peoria firm specializing in product engineering, simulation, design, prototyping and testing. He manages customer relationships, oversees engineering projects, serves as engineering manager for large-scale engineering programs, and acts as senior recruiter to attract and retain talent in central Illinois. Since its founding just three years ago, Berberich has helped grow INTEGRIS into a multimillion-dollar company.

Prior to cofounding INTEGRIS Group, Berberich was a forensic engineer in Caterpillar’s Legal Services Division, using his marine engine experience to act as lead technical advisor investigating claims against the company.

As a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International for 18 years and governing board member of the Central Illinois Section for 11 years, Berberich is responsible for bringing numerous technical programs to Peoria. He was extensively involved with the 2014 Baja SAE racing competition, helping to raise enough money to host the competition in Peoria and serving as a judge, offering critical advice on vehicle engineering, design, marketability and general presentation considerations to university students from around the world.

Berberich is also a member of the Specialized Manufacturing Group, helping to grow and diversify the manufacturing and engineering industry footprint in Greater Peoria. As a volunteer for the Discover Manufacturing Expo, he helps expose high school students to manufacturing and other career options. For five years, he has been lead classroom instructor for Tire Rack Street Survival, a defensive driving course for teens. He is also an active member of the Porsche Club of America’s Lincoln Trail Region, holding positions on the governing board responsible for local events, and is a member of the Illinois Farm Bureau.

Active at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Berberich serves on an ad hoc leadership committee to develop social events for young adults. He is also a volunteer, committee member and presenter at weekend retreats through St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights. He and his wife have three daughters: AJ, Rosie and Evelyn. iBi
