In 20 years with Davis & Campbell, Amanda B. Campbell has worked her way up from runner and receptionist to office manager and certified paralegal. She has streamlined all billing functions for the law firm and taken the lead on consideration of new technology opportunities while improving communication strategies within the office, mentoring new staff members and reporting to the partnership on various issues of strategic importance.

Campbell is president of the Parent Teacher Organization at Kellar Primary School, where she serves on the Universal Leadership Team and participated in District 150’s Parents as Leaders program. She helped develop and facilitate a community garden at the school, and partnered with other parents to put on the Donuts for Dads and Muffins with Moms events. She also spends time inside the classroom helping teachers and staff, working with students, and assisting with special projects.

For the last 13 years, Campbell has been a VIP fundraiser for the Easter Seals Telethon. She organized and implemented the Easter Seals Golf and Tennis Classic, which she has co-chaired for the last three years. She was also a member of the team that started the Alumni Give Back to Easter Seals program, which works with students and alumni at Limestone Community High School to raise critical funding—nearly $20,000 in the last two years.

Active with the Junior League of Peoria, Campbell currently serves as treasurer-elect, helping with all aspects of its finances. She has chaired the Peoria Playhouse Community Outreach Committee and was a member of the Playhouse Strategy Team and Fundraising Leadership Team. Last November, she received the Junior League’s Community Outreach Award for her efforts.

A proud wife and mother of twin girls, Campbell approaches life by “not stressing the small stuff” and never giving up on something she’s started—valuable advice from her parents that she’s carried with her throughout her life. iBi
