As a financial services representative at WestPoint Financial Group, Lucas Ebbing assists individuals and businesses in planning for their financial success, helping them define their future needs and wants, and leading them to make responsible long-term financial decisions.

Taking on multiple leadership roles within the company, Ebbing trains and mentors new advisors at WestPoint, teaching them the best approach to handling clients. He is often the first to help new employees who need assistance, and he is actively involved in the recruiting process, attending college/university career fairs and speaking to business classes throughout the state in search of qualified members to add to the team.

In addition to his commitment to clients and colleagues at WestPoint, Ebbing has played an active role in many organizations throughout the community. He has served on the board of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra for three years, and has been its marketing chair for the last two years. Under his leadership, the organization has seen an increase in ticket sales, as well as increased audience diversity. A 2010 graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School, he has served on its planning committee for the last two years. He also serves as an alumni advisory board member for FarmHouse International Fraternity, where he helps run the leadership program for members and the executive committee.

Over the last five years, Ebbing has volunteered for a variety of fundraising events through MOSAIC, a subcommittee of the Children’s Hospital of Illinois Community Advisory Board. He has assisted the Cancer Center for Healthy Living with its Uncorked event for the last two years, and served on the board of the Peoria Area Illini Club, helping to plan alumni and volunteer events. He is also a member of Peoria’s Downtown Rotary Club, where he volunteers for the Trewyn reading program, tutoring and reading to third-grade students. iBi
