For half a century, the Tech Center in Mossville has been the hub of Caterpillar’s R&D efforts. Around 2,000 people—highly-trained scientists, engineers, technologists and experimental mechanics—work in seven buildings across 900,000 square feet on a campus that runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
