As an architectural designer and project coordinator for Farnsworth Group, Robert Lamberson assists with proposal presentations for clients, schematic design, construction documents, reviews and markups of shop drawings, construction administration, and gathering site data. His practice includes work for commercial, education, healthcare and municipal facilities.

As a design professional, Lamberson works closely with building owners and project stakeholders to ensure that projects meet expectations while accounting for the constraints of time, materials, scheduling and budget requirements.

Upon joining Farnsworth Group in 2006, Lamberson quickly became one of the firm’s rising stars. A member of the American Institute of Architects, he is dedicated to broadening his experience by participating in a variety of professional development programs. He is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional with a passion for sustainable design. This passion led Lamberson to become involved in an initiative to help central Illinois businesses measure their sustainability goals and apply sustainability practices. He served as chairperson of the group that helped transform the idea of “A Greener Morton” from a simple idea to reality.

Having witnessed firsthand the impact that Children’s Hospital of Illinois has had on area families, Lamberson regularly volunteers for the organization, often serving as a telethon VIP. He also gives back to the community as a board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria and a regular participant in the “Dive for Cover” Polar Plunge in support of South Side Mission, in addition to his involvement with the United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Lamberson is a graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School, a member of the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria and an ambassador for the Morton Chamber of Commerce. He uses his real-world experience to prepare students for the work environment, and is a regular guest speaker for Bradley University’s construction management department, as well as a conferences and professional organizations. iBi
