As vice president of Leman Property Management, Drew Leman oversees a team of approximately 45, comprised of property managers, leasing agents, accountants, and maintenance and janitorial staff. He spends much of his time on property operations, capital improvements planning and budgeting, review of potential real estate acquisitions, commercial lease negotiations, and financial and administrative reporting.

Displaying leadership in his company, Leman has taken on the planning and execution of updating older properties in order to maintain their viability for years to come. He has taken a leading role in recent apartment community acquisitions, and has worked on securing new commercial property management contracts. He also led the implementation of new property management software to increase efficiency for the growing firm.

Leman is also a leader in his profession as a whole. He is president elect of the central Illinois chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management, and has earned the organization’s Certified Property Management designation. This past year, he was recognized as one of the 20 Under 40 by the Pekin Daily Times.

Just as he works enthusiastically to further himself and his company, Leman shows the same enthusiasm for bettering his community. As president of the Kiwanis Club of Pekin this past year, he showed great dedication and passion for service while leading the club in numerous activities and projects.

An active member of his church, Leman teaches eighth-grade Sunday school classes and utilizes his CPA designation to co-lead Bible studies on sound financial principles. In addition to serving his company, church and community, Leman values his time with his wife and three children. Whether coaching his children’s sports teams, traveling or just playing at home, this is the time he holds most dear. iBi
