Suzie Hagemann joined RSM McGladrey—the fifth largest provider of accounting, tax and business consulting services in the nation—in 2004. Recently promoted to senior marketing associate, she is responsible for executing demand generation campaigns and managing the client satisfaction program for the Great Lakes region, which spans 15 offices and four states. She also leads marketing initiatives in central Illinois.

Hagemann’s strong work ethic and high expectations have led her to take on additional professional responsibilities, such as serving on the RSM McGladrey Client Satisfaction Committee. Working directly with the national director of market research, she has been instrumental in the development and implementation of new survey programs. She also serves as a trainer and resource for client survey administrators in offices throughout the firm.

Hagemann’s work has been recognized by her organization with several national awards. In 2009, she received the RSM McGladrey Teamwork Achievement Award for her role on the client satisfaction pilot program and implementation across all offices throughout the firm. Over the last two years, she has also won three RSM McGladrey Demand Generation awards, which recognize the company’s most successful electronic marketing campaigns.

Hagemann is a dynamic leader who eagerly seeks out service and leadership opportunities to further her development while making significant contributions to her company, community and family. She is an active member of the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria, through which she has become a source for advice among her peers.

A recent graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School, Hagemann was invited to serve on the Peoria Promise Young Leaders Advisory Board, where she was elected secretary and chairs the sponsorship committee. She also serves as a classroom consultant and fundraising volunteer with Junior Achievement. As a Peoria Jaycees member, Hagemann volunteers for events such as the Haunted House/Masquerade Ball and the Adopt a School program. Living out her belief that volunteer service is the foundation of building a stronger community, she also supports and contributes to many other organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Peoria Friendship House.

Recognized for her efforts in and out of the office, Hagemann received the Scholarship Award from Women in Leadership of Central Illinois in 2009. She received the Women’s Lifestyle Fund Educational Scholarship from the Community Foundation of Central Illinois in 2008, and now helps to raise scholarship funds for the organization by volunteering at the Women’s Lifestyle Show. Hagemann also received the Presidential Service Award for dedication to serving her community. iBi
