Nick Stafford is a retirement plan enrollment specialist at Alliance Benefit Group of Illinois, and is responsible for developing and conducting educational training programs; maintaining a high proficiency regarding the rules, regulations and changes surrounding qualified retirement plans; and assisting account managers, sales consultants and other co-workers in troubleshooting issues.

During his tenure with Alliance Benefit Group, Stafford has demonstrated dependability, values and a commitment to excellence. He serves as the face of the company when conducting enrollment meetings and represents Alliance with pride and enthusiasm. Stafford has received accreditation through the Society of Professional Asset-Managers and Record Keepers, which recognizes the ongoing commitment to quality of individuals within the industry. After his participation in a 52-week training program, Stafford co-organized a task force that analyzed how individual teams could better work together.

Stafford is a member of the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria, where he serves on the social subcommittee and was selected to chair the newly-created health and fitness subcommittee and chosen to serve on the YPGP End of the Year Event Task Force.

Stafford is a board member for the reactivated Miss Heart of Illinois pageant and the Heart of Illinois Big Brothers Big Sisters. Serving on the Bowl for Kids’ Sake Committee this past spring, he helped register 84 teams, raising more than $80,000.

In 2009, Stafford was nominated to participate in Rotary International’s Group Study Exchange and spent 28 days in India, traveling to 14 cities in its northwest region. During his travels, Stafford learned about the retirement plan industry abroad, while developing personal and professional relationships and exchanging ideas.

Stafford served as a production assistant for My Guaranteed Student Loan, an independent film produced by a Peoria native. He also played a key role in helping advertise, promote and market the film, which premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival in France this past May.

In addition to donating his time and talent to various nonprofit organizations, Stafford continues to work with his alma mater, Augustana College. He is committed to mentoring students through the school’s Fraternity Alumni Network to help them prepare for life after graduation, both professionally and personally. iBi
