Christian Lee is a sales manager with Firstaff, a company that offers staffing solutions, recruiting and reporting services for industries ranging from medical to manufacturing. He is responsible for the business development of staffing solutions, and assists and mentors his sales team in the Peoria and Bloomington markets.

Lee plays a key role in motivating, mentoring and driving sales within his team, and his movement up the corporate ladder is representative of his leadership and value to the company. In his first year with Firstaff, Lee achieved sales of $1 million, and this year, his sales are already well over twice that number.

At work, Lee has proven to be proficient at ensuring effective strategic planning and allocating resources. He manages resources effectively, monitoring and strengthening the company’s programs and services, and has enhanced its public standing. Lee ensures legal and ethical integrity and maintains accountability while recruiting and orienting new staff and team members, assessing performance and mentoring all of the members of his team.

Not only is Lee a dedicated leader at work, he is a leader at home and in the community as well. A father of five children under the age of nine, he still manages to devote much of his time to community service. Lee has been a board member of the Suzanna Lee Silver Cup Challenge for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 2002, and has raised more than $500,000 for cystic fibrosis research. He also serves as a board member for the Flynn Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis.

A former employee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria, Lee continues to volunteer with the organization, helping out at fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for at-risk children. He was nominated to serve as a director on the organization’s board and received the Boys and Girls Clubs Helping Hand Award. The young people he tutored and mentored as a staff member still call Lee and visit with him and his family, and he continues to serve as a role model for them.

Lee is a 2007 graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School and has volunteered with the FC Peoria Soccer Club, Tim Ardis Foundation for Hope and Peoria Park District. iBi
