Suzanne Miller is a realtor and team leader with Jim Maloof/Realtor, central Illinois’ largest realty company. In this capacity, she is the primary interface with new agents and the company’s mentor program. Under her leadership, dozens of agents have successfully begun their professional careers as independent business contractors.

Miller exemplifies the ideal work-life balance. She is a top salesperson, an active mother in her children’s school affairs, and was chosen to represent her peers in the Peoria Area Association of Realtors Leadership Task Force Academy. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2008 for top sales production and customer satisfaction ratings within the Jim Maloof/Realtor company.

Not only striving for professional excellence, Miller is very active in the community. She has been the Benefit Auction Committee Chair for St. Philomena School for the past two years, and has volunteered at the parish’s Fall Festival for the past three years. She is a participant in the St. Jude Tri-County Run; a team captain, participant and volunteer for the Relay for Life; a committee member for the American Cancer Society Golf Classic; a team member and volunteer for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk; and a participant in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Miller created the first American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Fulton County in 2001 and received an Award of Service for founding the American Cancer Society’s Peoria Golf Classic in 1999. Each year since, she has raised record-breaking totals for the organization. Miller also led the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Woodford County to national recognition by becoming the number-one county of its size in the country to reach “most money raised per capita” two years in a row. One of her greatest personal accomplishments was serving as the principal cellist in the Bradley Chamber Orchestra from 1993 to 1997.

Not only has Miller achieved great success in her career, she has also motivated those around her to become the best they can through her leadership in numerous community organizations. iBi
