Over the past two years, Michael Higgins has served as vice president of the Property & Casualty and Financial Services divisions for The Wyman Group. He works with business owners to assess risks and provide proper coverage for their companies. He oversees the marketing strategies of the company and is in charge of training and supervising support staff and newly-hired brokers. He is also responsible for the overall financial success of the division. Higgins makes every client feel as if they are his only client. His greatest accomplishment with Wyman has been building both of the divisions he manages from the ground up over the last two years.

Higgins is also a director of qualified plans for Aubry & Eustice, LLC, an investment advisory firm in Bloomington for which he serves as a registered investment advisor, providing financial planning and wealth management services to individuals and small businesses. He has received numerous sales awards and professional designations in his career.

Active in the community, Higgins has dedicated himself to the mission of the American Cancer Society by chairing numerous golf and gala events. He serves on the board of directors and has raised more than $200,000 for the organization. Higgins is very engaged in the strategic planning of the West Central Region of the American Cancer Society by overseeing the income development activities of 12 counties. Not only does Higgins help navigate the vision and direction of the region, he holds himself accountable for reaching each goal.

In addition to his work with the Cancer Society, Higgins has served with the Limestone Youth Baseball Program, was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army and is a volunteer coach for the Washington Park District. He is currently on the Washington Recreational Board of Directors.
