As a registered nurse and the regional transition manager for the electronic medical record (EMR) project at OSF Medical Group, Amy Hasty is dedicated to identifying site-by-site needs and acting as a link to information systems for feedback, as well as project management duties. Her responsibilities also include working closely with practice managers to assess site readiness and coordinating training schedules. Hasty carries out the organization’s mission of “serving persons with the greatest care and love,” through her daily work and community-based leadership.

Hasty was a key leader during OSF Medical Group’s electronic medical record implementation process. She was instrumental in taking the project from the initial stages to full implementation throughout OSF Medical Group’s Peoria-area primary care physician offices. She dedicated herself to making sure that EMR implementation goals were met and that the project continues to be successful.

In addition, Hasty is Ambulatory EpicCare certified and has filled a system role as the nurse champion for the ambulatory EMR project. She is a trained Six Sigma Green Belt, certified Change Agent and Six Sigma Project Sponsor. She also serves on the OSF Medical Group Office Care Delivery Advisory Council, the Patient Focus Council and numerous other committees. Outside of OSF, Hasty enjoys being an independent Silpada Designs sales consultant.

Hasty is a member of the Emblem Club, which sponsors a series of community events in Pekin, conducting bingo for nursing home residents, providing food for those in need, providing Christmas gifts to patients in nursing homes who would otherwise be forgotten, and promoting literacy in local schools. She was a St. Jude Ambassador and the 2005 recipient of the Pekin Amateur Hockey Association Dragon Heart Award for Service and Volunteerism. Hasty is a dedicated fan and busy chauffeur of her three active children.

Amy Hasty has a proven history of leadership and team building, a great work ethic, and has taken the lead to successfully guide the electronic medical record project through the implementation process. iBi
