Our roving photographer Bob Hunt was in the Windy City on Wednesday, September 12, to take in a White Sox game, where he caught local hero Jim Thome in action, hitting his 499th career home run.
The Peoria native and future Hall-of-Famer slugged his 500th homer against the Angels Sunday, leading the White Sox to a 9-7 victory.
