In August, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a limited-edition Ben Zobrist/Eureka High School bobblehead. Born and raised in Eureka, Zobrist played baseball, cross country and football at Eureka High School before making his major-league debut in 2006.
In 2015, Zobrist helped the Kansas City Royals win its second World Series Championship. Last year, he helped lead the Chicago Cubs to its first World Series title in more than a century—and was named World Series MVP—but he remains dedicated to his hometown.
"The fact that Ben is being honored with a high school bobblehead, which is very rare, is a testament to his connection with the community and his tremendous achievements,” says Phil Sklar, cofounder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.”
The Zobrist bobbleheads are individually numbered to 500, and $5 from each sale goes to benefit the Eureka High School Athletic Department. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is currently sold out, but a limited number are available for sale at the school.
