Amanda R. Lambie serves as the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Education for OSF Multispecialty Services, a division of OSF HealthCare that operates all outpatient practices, including primary and specialty care, as well as service lines within the health system, including the Cardiovascular Institute, Children's Hospital of Illinois and Illinois Neurological Institute. In this role, she coordinates and directs educational efforts within the ambulatory environment across all the regions served by OSF HealthCare.

A Certified Pediatric Nurse, Lambie served in various pediatric nursing positions within OSF HealthCare until 2009, when she joined the nursing faculty at Bradley University as a Professor of Pediatrics. In 2016, she rejoined OSF to lead health education efforts for OSF Multispecialty Services. She has taught and mentored hundreds of nurses and nursing students from the Peoria area and beyond, promoting evidence-based practice standards through her passion for education and gift for teaching.

A published author in the fields of pediatric health and safety, Lambie has given numerous lectures at national conferences on these topics. In 2011, she received the Outstanding Young Health Care Professional Award from the Peoria Jaycees in recognition of her efforts to promote pediatric health and safety through education and community services.

In addition, Lambie advocates for pediatric health and safety as a member of Safe Kids Peoria Area, a local coalition of Safe Kids Worldwide that works to prevent injuries through car seat safety, drug safety, wellness and pedestrian safety. The group hosts monthly car-seat fitting stations throughout the region and leads a variety of safety workshops and sports clinics. Lambie has also received a grant from the Peoria Medical Society for simulation education efforts at Bradley University.

A strong supporter of the Holy Cross Lutheran Child Care Center and Midwest Nursing Research Society, she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing and is preparing to complete her PhD at the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. iBi
