Best of Peoria

Since 1993, One World Café has been a mainstay at Main and University in Peoria, having long ago outgrown its origins as a single-room coffee shop. Today, it’s known for an eclectic menu (including many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items), consistent quality and colorful atmosphere—with the work of local artists featured each month.

Not only is One World a great place to entertain clients or work remotely, it also offers a full bar with daily specials, including the “Best Drink in Town”: its infamous, 22-ounce Long Island Iced Tea. Stop in on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday when it’s on special and try it for just six bucks. (Limit two per person… they want you to get home safely!)
