This event is a 5K Run/2-Mile Walk that challenges runners to finish its Peoria Riverfront course before
Beethoven’s famous 5th Symphony finishes (approximately 33 minutes).
The race begins at the Peoria Symphony Orchestra office located in the WTVP Building at 101 State Street,
Peoria, Illinois. The race will take you along the Peoria Riverfront to the Gateway Building, Constitution
Garden, and back. Walking turnaround point is near the Gateway Building.
Participants who register by October 14, 2017 will receive a t-shirt. All participants will receive a
light-up baton. Overall first place male and female winners will receive a trophy. Top three finishers in
each division receive a medal. Age categories are: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65 & over. Race management, timing, and scoring is provided
by ShaZam Racing.
